Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. xxii, 1,226pp. Black cloth-covered boards; blind embossed borders on boards, gilt titles on spine; some in-text black and white photographs. 8vo. A large and very heavy volume requiring an additional charge for overseas delivery. Sun-faded spine, boards rubbed. Rubbed corners and spine ends; cloth fraying and rubbed through. Text block dropped, volume quite loose. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. 1930's text book being primarily a treatise on the fundamental laws and technique of bacteriology, as illustrated by their application to the study of pathogenic bacteria.
