About This Item

London, UK William Collins , 1966. Hardcover First Edition UK (1966), so stated. Near Fine in Near Fine DJ: Both book and DJ show only minute indications of use. The Book shows a bit of darkening to the outside edges of the text pages; the mildest shelving wear along the bottom edge of the boards; former owner's name at the top of the front free endpaper; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. A handsome nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing mild wear and minor flaws. The DJ shows light wear to the head of the backstrip; mild rubbing to the panels; faint soiling to the white background field of the rear panel; the price is unclipped, but a former bookseller has crossed out the price and neatly inked in a higher price; mylar-protected. Not without flaw, but remains very close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.2 x 5.75 x 1 inches). 187 pages. Translated by John Riches. Language: English. Weight: 12 ounces. First Edition UK (1966), so stated. Hardback with DJ.
