About This Item
London: Arthur Baker, Methuen, 1953. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Interesting reprint of this early novel from Noel Langley, screenwriter famous for his work on the Wizard of Oz film. 9th edition, 1953 printing. From the personal library of Madeleine L'Engle, with her married ownership signature (Hugh and Madeleine Franklin) on the front pastedown. Near fine book with bumped lower corner in very good jacket that shows rubbing along folds and at spine ends, and a couple small edge tears.
