Very Good hardback in Good+ dust jacket, protected by mylar cover. Inscribed by author on front flyleaf: "To | [name] | Trust you find an inspiration | in a story of gallant men, | Sincerely, | [sig]." Stated 2nd Printing, December 1961. 233 p.; illus.; 23 cm. Red cloth over boards with bright gilt title on spine. Size: Octavo (8vo; up to 9 3/4" / 20-25 cm tall). 233 pages. Item Type: Book. Text block is tight, bright and unmarked. Binding is tight; corners slightly bumped with some shelf wear. Dust Jacket, now in a mylar cover, shows wear around the edges with chipping at the top and bottom of the spine and a 1/4" closed tear at the top of the front panel and a 3/4" closed tear at the top of the back hinge. Bottom corner of front flap is torn off. There is a small (1/4") sticker scar on the front panel at the upper right corner of the regiment flag. Quantity Available: 1.
