Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil marking to some pages, text remains readable. Minor dog-eared corners. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Staining overall.

No Illustrations. 142pp. A first edition copy ( 1935) of this film story based on the material contained in his history of the future "The Shape of Things to Come". Bound in blue cloth with gilt embossed lettering to a black embossed title block to the front board and spine. The book has slight spine lean and there are slight soil marks to the front board. Light/slight bumps to the tail of the spine and to three board corners. Previous owners neat ink name signature to the head of the front end paper. The textblock is very fresh and clean. No wrapper. A very good copy.
