About This Item

No dust jacket. The author recounts his 22 years in southern Africa, between 1889 and 1912. Cover shows some wear and a few strains. Pages are clean, tight and intact, with a number of black and white photographs (photos #6, 7 and 8) and four full color drawings inset on black paper with tissue paper coverings (photos #4 and 5). Endpapers are splitting over the spine (photos #3 and 9), but the binding is still solid. The route of Crawford's travels is shown on both endpapers. This is a rare and valued book. This book will ship at over two pounds. Excess shipping costs are included in the list price.
