Nonetheless, a nice, bright copy – very attractive in its Val Biro designed dustwrapper.
The story 'The Third Bullet' was originally published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1937 under Carr's pseudonym Carter Dickson, this version in a shorter form together with six other short stories.
Interestingly, although a publisher's edition this copy was supplied through a book club – see gum backed label to title page.
