Very Good. 34 x 27.cm Title page, plus 30 pages printed on one side, each page has a hand-coloured engraving with descriptive text below each illustration.Some spotting to the title page and ocastionaly to the text. The illustration 0f the Sand Storm has a water colour brush mark to part upper blank margin., presumably done when th illustration was coloured. Some browning to end papers the contents tight with no inscriptions.Recased in the original brown blind stamped cloth with new matching spine.The binding clean and tight with no splits or stains some light rubbing to edges..The plates include: The Rainbow, The Aurora Borealis, The Geysers or Boiling Springs of Iceland, Water Spouts,"Glaciers, Icebergs, Caverns,"Fingal's Cave,The Falls of Niagara, The Prairie on Fire, Halos,Coral Reefs, Natural Bridges, Monsoons, Snow Bridges, Rapids, Petrifying Springs, Air Volcanoes, The Dropping Well, Mountain Passes, "Perforated Rocks, Glacier Tables, The Breaking Up of Ice-Floes, The Fata Morgana, The Ignis Fatuus or, Will-o'-the-Wisp, Avalanches, Torrents of Mud, Whirlpools, Sand Storms, andVolcanoes.
