Norwalk, CT: Easton Press. Near Fine. 1979. Hardcover. Ibsen's three plays were first produced in Christiana (Oslo), Norway in 1882, 1884, and 1890. Notes and and Introduction by John Gassner. This book is beautifully bound in a full gray leather binding with 22 kt gold spine and cover decorations. The spine has four raised bands with five decorated compartments. All edges are gilt, and the book has tan silk moire end papers with a red silk ribbon bookmark. The pages are acid-free and they are smyth-sewn, not glued. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. There is a previous owner bookplate, els there are no other owner names or marks in the book. This book appears to have been unread. There are no owner bookplates or owner names in the book. This is a very pretty book that would make a fine addition to any library. ; 100 Greatest Books Ever Written Series; B&W & Color Illustrations; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 325 pages .
