Milne writes in his introduction that he prefers to see his dramatic output in printed form rather than on stage, remarking that the characters can only have their essential qualities on paper and are some how reduced by the actors perception of them. He writes a spoof review of Hamlet as a it might first have arrived on the London stage and suggests (as a critic) that he should stick to writing sonnets!! This is a nice clean and tight copy, VERY GOOD+, Apart from foxing to the fore and bottom edges and the first and last few pages A spare clean paper spine label is tipped in to the last page.
