New York: The American Museum of Natural History, 1929.. 1929.. Fair. - Octavo, softcover bound in printed cream wraps. The wraps are bumped & soiled with some creasing. Part of the surface of the bottom edge of the front wrap is rubbed away & the wrap is partially detached. There are small pieces out of the top inner corners of the wraps & the bottom corner of the rear wrap is torn & creased. Pages [530]-542. Black-and-white textual illustrations. The pages are creased with some light soiling & staining & with small pieces out of the top inner corners. There are tiny tears to the front edges of the first 3 leaves. Good reading copy. <p>Inscribed by the author in the top corner of the front wrap and signed in full.<p>Reprinted from Natural History: The Journal of The American Museum of Natural History, Vol. XXIX No. 5.
