Undated publication, green cloth and gilt lettering. The author travels throughout Britain to find, record and photograph native birds and animals in their habitat. 212 pages with 12 plates and 38 illustrations. Book text and photographs in very good condition, ex library with sticker inside front cover, stamp on front and back endpaper, binding showing inside front (tape repair) and back cover but intact. Cover split along spine/back, reference on bottom spine, knocks to corners and some wear (see photo).
