London: Cassell, 1934. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. Illustrated in colour and black and white by Roland Davies. Publishers mid-blue cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. Blue top edge. Quite heavy foxing to the page block edges otherwise a VG+ copy. Inscribed by the Author in 1943 on the front free end-paper. In the VERY RARE D/W priced 3/6 net to the inside flap (as called for). The fragile D/W is rather edge-worn, chipped and creased but is the identical illustration to that used as the frontispiece in the book itself. An exceedingly uncommon book in D/W even more so inscribed by the Author. Scans can be provided, if required. A motor racing story by the celebrated world speed record holder - Sir Malcolm Campbell.
