There, near Mission San Juan Bautista, he encounters the beautiful Senoritta Guerro (frontispiece, "undoutably a pure bred Castilian"), daughter of Mexican land grant holder and racehorse enthusiast Don Jose ... that and a growing band of comrades adds to a fast moving adventure. Fine copy less dust jacket.
