Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott, 1942. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good. Hardcover/ DJ (has price $3.00)- Fine+/ VG. 336 pages. Top edge of text block is green, side edge is rough- cut. Assume First Edition, 1st printing; copyright page states c. 1942 w/ no mention of subsequent printings; dates 1792- 1942 on title page. DJ VG- glossy & bright w/ only light rubbing, bit of soil on back, light edge wear (incl couple minor closed tears, NO chips)- displays very well. Red cloth binding is excellent- bright, clean & square. NO bumps, frays, rubs, sun, soil etc. Black oval vignette of mountain on front & all spine lettering crisp & intact. Lightest hint of toning to text; tight, clean, unmarked. NO hinge splits, NOT ex library. Handsome, well preserved copy- I don't think you'll be disappointed. ***Reliable, fast! (33)
