About This Item
London: Methuen & Co Ltd, 1922. No dustwrapper, some wear to edges and corners of paper-covered boards, also to ends of green cloth spine strip which also has a small (half-inch) tear about an inch down from top end at right-hand side. A few old grubby marks to the pages, binding is starting to come loose at pp32-33 and 48-49, but otherwise a not too bad copy of this slim hard-cover book. A collection of twenty-one light humorous verses on various professions, all originally appearing in "Punch". 64pp, b&w drawings throughout.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Morrow, George. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
