About This Item

Street & Smith, 1906-07. Good. Vintage pulp magazines featuring people playing baseball, both on the cover and internal fiction. Even indoor baseball! Gilbert's central figure, Dick Merriwell, a Yale sports star and crime solver, is featured in each issue. Each issue is a single story, and more resembles the dime novels of the era. Good overall, insect chews, tears, creases, two issues with detached and split wraps, one issue with brief pencil. No. 515, 2/24/1906. No. 527, 5/19/1906. No. 581, 6/1/1907.
