The dust jacket is not price clipped (shows 18 shillings), and is marked 'second impression'. The jacket is slightly marked in places, being a pale colour, and the spine is a little darkened. The edges have a few tiny chips. Overall, in a very good condition. Now held in removable protective archival sleeve. . First edition, in second impression dust jacket (as is often stated). Bound in red cloth, Wartime economy paper. 438 pp. 220 x 140 mm (8¾ x 5½ inches).
