New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1905. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. A.B. Frost, J.M. Conde & Frank Verbeck. pp: [x] [2] - 295 [10]. The FIFTH IMPRESSION of the First Edition bound in light brown cloth covered boards, lettering stamped in black. A 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" illustration is laid down on the top board. The text includes a frontispiece and seventeen additional illustrations throughout the text. The book has seventeen 'Uncle Remus' stories. A very good copy without dust jacket. The boards have light shelf wear and soiling. The top edge is somewhat soiled. And, the spine ends have very light fraying.
