About This Item
Boston: Ticknor and Fields, 1863. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. In volume One, the spine is cracked at page 97 and again at page 171, resulting in uneven though still solid binding. In Volume II, the cloth is beginning to fray at the head and middle of the spine and the front paste down is damaged where a small booksellerseller's sticker has been removed. This is still present in volume I and both volumes have a neat ownership signature on the head of the front paste down. For its faults, it remains a nice set.
