About This Item
London: The British Museum Press, (2011). First edition, first printing. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is illustrated by the author on both panels, with a spectrum foil at the top edge. It is slightly creased at the top edge with one closed tear. It has not been price clipped, showing the original £25.00 price. The boards are tight in the publisher's black cloth, free from notable marks. The internals and text blocks are pristine and clean. The author's signature is flat signed to the full title page in black ink. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a fine production.
Drawing on such intriguing and diverse themes as pilgrimage, shamanism and tomb guardians, Perry takes the reader on a journey to an imaginary afterlife.
