About This Item

New York: Free Press/Simon & Schuster, 2007. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Another bestseller from Rule, widely acknowledged as the "Queen of True Crime." In late 2004, Jean Corbin, mother of two living with her husband, Bart, in a posh home in an upscale Atlanta suburb, was found dead, a bullet in her head and the revolver lying beside her body. Suicide? Law enforcement wasn't convinced, especially after it was discovered Dr. Corbin had, 14 years earlier, dated a dental school student, Dorothy Hearn, who also commited suicide. As usual Rule's report of the case is detailed and exhaustive. A remainder mark on the bottom edge of the text, o/w text and boards are clean and unmarked, tight and square. The dustjacket shows some slight edge and surface wear but no tears, chipping or creasing, not price-clipped. Collectable.

Superb! Ann Rule tells the story in a way that takes the reader into the center of the lives of the characters she writes about. That is what makes her so unique and so popular as a writer.
