NY: Robert M. McBride & Company, 1926. First Edition . Hardcover. Second printing of the first edition (two months after the first printing), very good- lacking a dust jacket. Owner's bookplate on front pastedown. The red cloth on the spine has apparent insect damage, and roughtly 50% of the cloth is gone; however, most of the lettering is still present and legible. Hinges are tight, book is solid and square.
Synopsis
Thorne Smith was the author of nine novels, including The Night Life of the Gods, Topper Takes a Trip, and The Stray Lamb. He was born in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1892 and died in 1934. Carolyn See is the author of nine books. Her latest novel is The Handyman.
