This is a first edition (1971) of Tower of London, by the English historian Christopher Hibbert (1924-2008). It is the story of one of the world's most famous buildings, covering its history of political intrigue, religious crises, and numerous uses (royal residence, prison, fortress etc.)


172 pages, including 100 photographs, half in color. There is a special section on The Tower in Literature. Aside from some light scuffing to the cover (see photos), this book is in mint condition.
