[vi] + 212 pp. Frontis b/w photo with tissue guard + 15 other b/w photographic plates as called for.The author was awarded a gold medal by the Royal Scottish Arboricultural Society for an Essay on Town Planting which prompted him to write the book now offered and which is quite scarce in it's original published format. Offset browning to free end papers and tissue guard with hint of sporadic foxing to prelims and light foxing spots to edges of book block not affecting face of pages. Binding sound with no other notable defects).
