First edition first printing quarto hardback 144 pages Illustrated throughout in black and white Very Good condition in Near Very Good unclipped dust jacket (rubbing at corners). Copy belonged to Tobias Clarke, a relative of Theodore Roosevelt and has a gift inscription which is difficult to read but may be a cousin. Loosely enclosed are an invitation to the 1965 dinner of the Theodore Roosevelt Association at the New York birthplace, a named ticket for the same, a plave card and a menu.Sir Charles Mansfield Tobias Clarke, 6th Bt. was a British businessman and banker who was related to T.R. via his grandmother Elfrida Roosevelt.
