Illustrated throughout by James Riddel with many coloured plates of iconic Edinburgh locations. A fantastic reference work regarding the history of Edinburgh, with chapters on many noted locations such as Greyfriars Churchyard, Moray House, Lothian Hut, Queensberry House and The Cowgate.A very bright copy of this work, with the scarce survival dustwrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. With unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart. Several marks to boards. Dustwrapper is sound. Chipping to the dustwrapper, with loss to the head and tail of rear wrap and spine. Spine is sunned to the dustwrapper and several marks to the front and rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Near Fine
