About This Item

Lisbon, Moraes, 1980.. Very large 8°, original publisher's cloth (minor wear). In very good to fine condition, internally as new. 468 pp., 2-page map in color. *** Two editions of the previously unpublished Tragedia appeared almost simultaneously in 1975; they were done from different manuscripts and show significant differences in text. Guerra da Cal knew of several manuscript versions (see his nº 1419), and notes that imminent publication had been announced as early as 1925, but nothing had come of it. ***
