Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "For Willie, at the Literary Salon, all best wishes. John Daniel 6/13/93." A near fine copy with some light wear at the spine tips. Some small spots to the front textblock edge, otherwise clean, tight and straight. Unclipped jacket is very good with minor shelf-wear at the panel edges and some light soiling to the panels. 223 pp., a collection of essays on the state of the natural world and the effects of man upon it.
