Very Good, stamp of Ecole Sainte Genevieve at title page, pencil notations at end pages, light wear to edges of boards, binding tight and internally clean and unmarked. (16), 145, (7), pages. An often overlooked early work on blood circulation, published posthumously by the author's brother, Jacques-Laurent Malouin. A translation, enlarged and amended, of Malouin's academic dissertation for his bachelor's degree, published in 1715 under the title " Devero et inaudito artificio quomoventur solida unaque de cordes et cerebri motu utorum moveatur". . First Edition. Sheepskin. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
