Contemporary spotted calf with 5 band spine and a lot of gilt. All edges dyed red. Brief ownership flatsigned on second leaf and also another on title page. Illegible. Bindings are sound and contents quite clean and bright. About 1800 pages. Engraved title, occasional end pieces. Fold out engraved plates. Early editiion. .
