About This Item
Barcelona: Libreria Teatral Millá, 1944. Hardcover. 106p., text in Spanish, illustrated with drawings and b&w photos and 8 color plates tipped-in, first edition in boards with color plate affixed front cover and lightly-worn color pictorial dj. Quite various, with an emphasis on historic costume, stage manner and makeup, and a definite leaning towards buffoonery. An eccentric, self-published item, and evidently author tried his hand at binding this item as well; he's a lousy binder! signatures are loose on their threads, many of which are exposed in gaps between fastenings. Complete, but will need careful handling. Self-published guide to theatrical make-up and costume, available just in time to sport with our new facial recognition machinery.
