About This Item
Lisbon: Simão Thaddeo Ferreira, 1783. First Edition. Hardcover (Full Leather). Very Good Condition. Full contemporary elaborately gilt red morocco, densely tooled with an array of fleur de lis and other fleurons. Light wear and rubbing, mostly at the corners. Minor worming to endpaper, minor stains to title and a few other spots. Lacking one signature, pages 177-192, otherwise very good internally; sold as a fine binding example. A fine example of 18th century Portuguese bookbinding - more similar to fine 17th century French bindings. Size: Octavo (8vo). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: History; Biography & Autobiography. Inventory No: 045309.
