Tall Octavo. #39 of 200 copies, signed by both Milne and Maxwell, of the De Luxe edition, bound in blue buckram with a vellum spine strip and bright gilt lettering to spine, top edge gilt. Pp. [91] + 22 tipped-in colour plates. Except for the tiny piece missing from the right upper tip of the plate "The Dee at Aboyne" (probably occured in manufacture), this is an as new, clean, tight copy, kept in this pristine condition by the rare, original, printed and illustrated box. Light tanning to box, else very good.
