Aquatint frontis, Folding map of South America, 4 full page aquatints. Folded map with hand coloured borders in very good order. Binding hinges broken. Inscribed by author on blank free endpaper to Caroline Browne. Book block is tight, in one piece. Pages clean and bright, some foxing on images. Make no mistake, one volume only with broken original binding. A valuable book needing volume 2 and rebinding solution.
