1. Philadelphia: Carey, Lea & Carey, sold in New York by G. & C. Carvill, 1828. First edition in English. Two volumes bound in one. 9.75 x 6 inches. 212, 238pp + 2pp(ads). Original paper-covered boards, spine backed in tan cloth. Howes B385. Missing label and most of cloth facing spine; front board barely holding at spine top to a small piece of cloth. Needs reback. Edges and covers rubbed, pages untrimmed, mild foxing throughout; most of 2nd blank rear endpaper missing. Worthy of repair.
