About This Item
San Francisco: Squarebooks, 1978. 171, [5]p.(index),10 x 8.5 inch glossy color cardstock wraps; good photography but indifferently reproduced and none in color. The prelimaries have a touch of foxing, otherwise clean and entirely sound, a very good copy. Laid in, find a folded b&w brochure advertising the 4th annual Art Deco Weekend By-the-Bay, a 1989 salute to the 1939 World's Fairs. We do not recall other notable fairs that featured strip shows, but this one started off with -direct from Paris- the Folie Bergere. Original cast! then they went home and the local talent kicked in.
