Crown publishers, New York, 1956. Reprint. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/Good. Introduction by editor, Glossary and index. Olive coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with pale purple and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The title says it all, but, book also includes a section on songs and dances, with music totalling some 73 pages. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges some fraying to the top back strip corners. Bumping and rubbing of the book corners; with rubbing of the other book edges and to the panels. The panels are somewhat stain and some flecking has also occurred. There is a crease that runs the full length of the back strip and some brown staining is also present. A previous owner had covered the book in plastic and held the plastic down with tape  which has left the inevitable residue to the end pages. Original bookseller's rubber stamp to the top right hand corner of the front paste-down; with, previous owners name to the top edge of the free front end page. Offset tanning to the end pages cracking of the hinge between the title page and half title page  the underlying webbing is visible. Tanning of the text block edges and age toning of the pages. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Rubbing of the dustwrapper panels and there is fading of the back strip and sunning of the rear panel.
