London: J. G. & F. Rivington, 1839. Hardcover; Volume 1: 577 pages, Volume 2: 595 pages. Two leatherbound volumes with gilt titles on spine. Blind-tooled design on spine and gilt cover edges. Both volumes heavily scuffed. Rubbing/abrasions especially prominent on back of first volume, and both covers of second volume. fep and ffep of both volumes bear bookplates. Endpapers are otherwise nice and clean. The binding is quite tight, yet cracked in places. The pages are bright, clean, and unmarked. POOR+. Second Edition. Hardcover. Poor+.
