ORIGINAL not a reprint 136pp. Brick covers with gilt text on front and spine are very slightly bumped with two library stickers; binding is tight; pages are uncreased and unmarked save for embossings on the title page and page 135 and inserts on each inside cover. This book documents the thinking behind the author's presentations at several scientific meetings in 1916, pointing to this new understanding of an old scourge.
