San Francisco: James Linden, 1986. First edition. Designed and printed by Peter Rutledge Koch. Number 17 of 50 numbered copies (of a total edition of 226), SIGNED BY SNYDER AND MUNDY. There were also 150 unsigned copies and 26 lettered copies. Snyder's broadside poem, "Tree Song," signed by him beneath his printed signature and Mundy's archival-mounted black-and-white photograph, "Dogwood, Forest-Yosemite," signed by him on the mat. Items separated by tissue and laid in numbered, paper portfolio printed in gray and green. Housed in original envelope printed in gray and green. Fine. Prospectus with handwritten note from the publisher included as well as the publisher's prospectuses for THE FATES OF ROCKS & TREES, published the same year, and MORE PRINTING FOR THEATER (1987), both with brief notation from publisher.
