New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1892. Hardcover. Good. 4to. x,110pp. 15 plates, some in color. The colored plates are chromolithographed. Additional illustrations in text. Publisher's brown buckram printed in red, black and gilt. Decorative endpapers. All edges red. Boards worn and soiled, nicely rebacked with the original backstrip laid-on. The binding is only good. There is a whited-out signature on a preliminary blank else the textblock is in fine condition.

The second edition. The work was first published in 1885.
