Racine Wisconsin: Western Publishing Company, Inc., 1979. From jogging set to city suits and plenty of country dresses with vests, an accurate range of late 1970's middle American clothing for Trixie to don as she solves her latest mystery. The Trixie Belden mystery book series ran from 1948-86, the first author was Julie Campbell, who also wrote the Cherry Ames nurse series and the Ginny Gordon series. Present is the 24 cm doll, plastic stand, and 21 pieces of the wardrobe remain with 7 outfits punched out, 1 with intact tear. Doll and clothes in very good condition, bright and unmarked, light wear and label to box 37 x13 cm.
