About This Item
New York: Random House, [1937]. FIRST AMERICAN EDITION. Hardcover. Some spotting to front pastedown and to front cover of book. Very good copy in a fine bright dust jacket (faintly creased at edge of spine panel). Particularly nice copy of Riding's first novel, a Greek counterpart to her husband, Robert Graves' novels of the Roman Empire. Scarce in this condition.
