Hardback, 1989, first edition, second print, published by Puffin Books, London, 294 pages+.
In acceptable condition. Scuffing and considerable creasing to covers but quite clean. Wear to edges and bumped corners. Creasing to spine and slight tear at base of front outer hinge. Tanning and browning to page edges with some scuffing and marking. Rear free endpaper contains a little writing but otherwise page surfaces generally clean, no inscriptions, marginalia, underlining, etc. Some puckering to pages. See pictures for more information.
