First published in 1928 with this being an early printing,3rd. Cover square and clean with some very light general wear. Foxing, spotting on frontis and title page. Interior clean and unmarked with some minor discoloration to margins due to age. Binding tight. Biography of Charlotte Mignon [Lola Crabtree, 1847-1924] who became one of the most famous and beloved actors in America and also England. The movie "Golden Girl" [1951] was based on her life. One can also visit the Lola Crabtree fountain at the corner of Kearny and Market Street in San Francisco.
