Our Final and Most Complete Wrap-Up of the West's Most Inexperienced Indian Fighter" (by Bill Judge), as well as the biography (by W.E. Paxon) of cover artist Edgar Samuel Paxson (1852 - 1919), American frontier painter, scout, soldier and writer, known for his portraits of Native Americans in the Old West, and particulary for the Battle of Little Bighorn in his painting "Custer's Last Stand" featured on the cover of this magazine.
