A bump to the edge of the front board, and to the bottom edge of the rear board. A lightly rubbed dust jacket with the publisher's price of $3.95 on the front flap. Darkening to the spine, and a faint pen mark to the front flap and rear panel. The author's first published novel, drawing on his experiences as a combat medic during World War Two. ; 305 pages .
