Return date paper plate on front pastedown, and owners stamp on ffep. Lightly foxed text block and some pages in the margins, else, no wear. No markings, binding tight, clean, white and bright. 5.75" x 8.75". Black cloth with gilt lettering to spine. "Oliver Joseph St John Gogarty (1878-1957) was an Irish poet, author, otolaryngologist, athlete, politician, and well-known conversationalist. He served as the inspiration for Buck Mulligan in James Joyce's novel Ulysses.".
