About This Item
Ancient world 487 Cicero, Marcus Tullius/M. Tullii Ciceronis. Tusculanarum disputationum: libri quinque. Editio quinta auctior et emendatior. Recognovit et explanavit Raphael Kuhner. Hannoverae: Sumptibus Libariae Aulicae Hahnianae, 1874, xxiv, 568p, indexes. Bound in black half leather with pebbled cloth over boards, top edge gilt, marbled lining papers. The spine has been repaired with some of the top missing; the spine edges are highly worn and there is some splitting starting; the corners are also worn. There is a stain at the top of the title page and the flyleaf, maybe two inches, probably from a liquid. There is intermittent foxing in the text. The page block is pretty tight and clean. A very uncommon book by one of the greatest classical scholars of the 19th century. $45.00
